I'm an Assitant Lecturer in Computer Science at Universidad de Almería; you can find specific academic and educational information on and through my WebCT page. I am a member of Supercomputación: Algoritmos research team as well as a member of the Department of Computer's Architecture and Electronics.
Over the years,I have written some papers, and given some seminars (Low Level Programming Techniques) and (Security Vulnerabilities caused by poorly designed Instruction
Architecture Sets).
These pages are permanently under construction. Most sections may appear blank, time is gold. Constructive comments are most welcome.
I can be reached by email at jaberme at acm.org or jaberme at ual.es, and by paper mail at Department of Computer Architecture and Electronics, building CITE-III Matematicas e Informática. Ctra Sacramento S/N. P.O. BOX 04120. La Cañada. Almería. SPAIN.

[Research]
I am working with two separate worlds. Object Orientation methodologies and High Performance
Computing. I intend to glue both worlds together. The purpose is to use both
worlds together when using medical imaging applications in clustered environments. The underlying idea is quite simple, I do need parallelism and objects offer a natural way of parallelism -messages sent from an object to another will act as two parallel processes, if they share a processor the we can think on some kind of concurrence (atention should be put on methods that cannot be interleaved with other methods, this will break concurrence) -.
Three key concepts may, rudely, describe my interests: cluster, object and image
Reconstruction.
That's why in my research jargon appears a section named "Cluster Stuff"
in honor to the first word. "Threads stuff", "C++" and "Java" honoring second one
and none section to honor third 'cos no development effort from my side was
dropped here, dude.
Then, why Virtual Machines and ShellScripting there? Well, VM are the
future. Todays supercomputers are tomorrow workstations, that's why it is
wiser not to attach in xs to a hardware but to a idea instead. That's why I
bet seriously for VM computing. Let's time say the last word.
Agents are a new alternative to computing, this is my new step.
This section is still to grow, let me have a lil spare time and I
will write some more.
[Miscellaneous]
On September 26th, 2006, I decided to give form to all I know about performance when writing HL code. I will try not to ASMfy it!
Virtual Machines are a good alternative. A nice book on VMs is "Virtual Machine Desing and Implementation in C/C++" this book clarifies virtual machines utility.

Judas Priest are a heavy metal band formed in 1968 in the northwest midlands, near Birmingham, England. Originally formed by K.K. Downing and Ian Hill, later joined by Al Atkins , who subsequently brought the name Judas Priest from his original band. Judas Priest's classic line-up consists of vocalist Rob Halford, guitarists K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton, and bassist Ian Hill. They have been cited as an influence on many heavy metal musicians and bands. Their popularity and status as one of the definitive heavy metal bands has earned them the nickname "Metal Gods".
