I am currently a member of Scality's research team based in Paris. At Scality we produce the RING, a highly scalable, efficient and fault-tolerant massive-scale storage platform that you can try.
During 2014 I worked as a research engineer at The OAK Team, INRIA-Saclay (south of Paris, France). I collaborated in the development of the PAXQuery project: a parallel XQuery engine that runs on top of Apache Flink (previously known as Stratosphere). You can find the code in GitHub
Before moving to France I did a PhD in Applied Cryptography at at University of Almería (south of Spain). I used to be a proud member of the High Performance Computing - Algorithms research group and the Department of Computer Science at the same university. I also lectured in several university courses related to networks and fault tolerance.
